For those of us in the Northern hemisphere spring has finally made an appearance and in this issue we reveal some of the new features and benefits that have bloomed from Resonate KT development. The team have been working hard through the long, dark days of winter to bring you ActiveView 2.0 and WebReports 5.1.0.
These releases have some of the most exciting capabilities we have delivered yet, enabling our customers to tailor and simplify their Content Server user experience more than ever before. We are particularly proud of the new ActiveView Wizard allowing business users to create custom browse views in a matter of seconds.

Last issue we introduced you to some of the new interface simplification capabilities that have been introduced in ActiveView 2.0. This issue we'll take a closer look at one of the most anticipated new features, the ActiveView Wizard.
Designed to provide less technical individuals the ability to create common ActiveView interfaces, the Wizard guides users through a series of point-and-click steps; first choosing a basic layout template, then the interface components to be included, then finally the data to be displayed. A final click and the ActiveView is created and ready for use. It's that simple!

For a limited period we are offering organisations who register their interest on the ActiveView 2.0 resource center the opportunity to receive six months of free maintenance and support with a purchase of ActiveView 2.0. Visit the resource center now to learn more about our launch offer and see how ActiveView is already helping other organisations dramatically improve their Content Server usability.
We've talked a lot in this issue about ActiveView 2.0, but our developers have also been busily coding away on a new version of WebReports too. WebReports 5.1 introduces some significant improvements as well as fulfilling many customer requests. Of significant interest to many will be the new RMACTION tag
Full details of the new features and changes in this release can be found in the WebReports 5.1 Release Notes.
This issue our nerds have been playing around with the look-and-feel of Content Server's function menus. Whilst functional, the standard popup menus presented when you click on the small triangle next to any object are not the most intuitive. If you would like to make your own system more user friendly today, here's how.
ActiveView 2.0 introduces a new LLURL:FUNCTIONMENU:RAW option. Using this in conjunction with the executeWRService() WR Services request, a complete representation of the function menu's contents can be accessed. With a little bit of jQuery and CSS magic we can readily attached an event trigger to a UI object and render the function menu into it's new form when our trigger is activated.
If you want to see this in action we have created an example for you to look at on our new ActiveView 2.0 demo site.
